Christine McCarns
Christine McCarns came to JorgensenHR
in 2003
directly from a non-profit organization. She has recently been
instrumental in an intense recruitment campaign requested by our client
in the medical field.
As the recent Director of Human Resources of the California Endowment,
Ms. McCarns managed all aspects of human resource support services,
including recruitment, compensation and benefit programs, and
performance management systems. Additionally, she worked to foster
collaborative approaches to align human resource functions with The
Endowment’s programmatic work.
Prior to joining The Endowment, Ms. McCarns consulted extensively,
providing 30 years of human resources management experience to her
diverse client base. Notably, her professional background includes 23
years of senior level management for Security Pacific Corporation. As
Vice-President, she managed a wide array of human resource functions
such as staff development, compensation analysis, employee relations,
and merger integration.
Additionally, Christine’s nonprofit experience includes a
tenure
as Director of Human Resources at the American Heart Association where
she managed the human resources function for their Greater Los Angeles
affiliate.
Ms. McCarns, a Los Angeles resident, is a graduate of the University of
Redlands where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business and
Management.
