Judy Estrin
Judy Estrin has more than 25 years in the training
profession as an organizational consultant, instructional designer,
facilitator, and project manager. Ms. Estrin provides her clients with
practical solutions such as standardized learning programs, customized
training, coaching for individuals and teams, and project management.
Certified in ROI Analysis, she provides products and services to
measure the return on investment in training, human resources and
performance improvement programs. Judy became affiliated with
JorgensenHR in 2000.
Prior to becoming a career transition consultant, Judy spent twelve
years in the financial and energy industries as a Human Resource
Development professional for Fortune 100 companies including: First
Interstate Bank, Bank of Boston, First City Bancorporation and Superior
Oil. She developed technical and skills training programs, including
train-the trainer for accountants and IT professionals, in addition to
various leadership development programs.
As a member of the American Society for Training and Development, Ms.
Estrin has served on the National Board of Directors and has chaired
chapter, regional and national committees and conferences. Her ASTD
accomplishments include: a national Torch award, President of the Los
Angeles Chapter, National Vice President for Chapter/Member Services,
Chair of the National Leadership Conference, Chair of the Training and
Development Magazine Editorial Review Board and a member the
Publications Review Advisory Board. In 2003, ASTD-LA recognized her
contributions to the profession with the Frank Rabwin Memorial
Leadership award.
A presenter at numerous local, national and international meetings and
conferences, she is known for her pragmatic approach and out of the box
thinking process. She holds an M.A. in Education from the George
Washington University, with a specialization in Human Resource
Development and a B.A. in English from California State University,
Northridge.
