Mary Ellen Johnson
Mary
Ellen Johnson comes to JorgensenHR with expertise in Human Resources
management, employee and labor relations, training and development,
recruiting and college relations, compensation, and employee benefits.
She has over 20 years of human resources experience in a variety of
industries and settings.
Prior to joining JorgensenHR in 2007, Mary Ellen served as Director of
Human Resources for Orange County Head Start Inc., overseeing its 25
locations throughout Orange County. Her tenure with
Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the company behind Kleenex® tissue and
Huggies® diapers provided her breadth and depth in all facets of
Human Resources at both the corporate and operating facility
levels. At Kimberly-Clark her assignments included corporate and
mill training and development, human resources management, corporate
recruiting and college relations leadership, labor relations, and
corporate employee benefits. Mary Ellen began her human resources
career with Marshall Field’s, the Chicago retailer, and has
operated her own human resources consulting firm in both Wisconsin and
Southern California.
Mary Ellen has a Bachelor of Arts in music education and a Master of
Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. She is
a member of Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), and
the Irvine Chamber of Commerce.
