Angeles. Karen Jorgensen, the founder of JorgensenHR, managed the
personnel activity for a staff of 7000 transportation employees for the
games. Prior to the Olympics, she was Human Resources VP of Goldenwest
Broadcasting with Gene Autry. While working for several different
CEO´s during the sale of Autry´s properties to various
entertainment entrepreneurs, Karen realized there was an opportunity in
the marketplace for companies to receive executive-level human
resources advice during times of transition. After the games, she
decided to create a business, helping CEO´s with human resources
Karen´s vision was to create a consulting practice that provided
high-level support to businesses in transition. She had the help of her
sons, who provided the office and computer support. Linda Harris joined
JHR in the 90's and became the president in 2002. Now JorgensenHR
is a highly respected firm with seasoned, professionally-recognized
consultants servicing over 1,000 corporate clients in 20 industries
with all levels of HR support.
