How The Hotline Works

1.  EMPLOYEE CALLS THE HOTLINE

  • Uses toll-free 800 number from anywhere in USA including Alaska and Hawaii
  • Reports workplace problem to an independent third-party
  • Has option of calling anonymously about discrimination, sexual harassment, theft, threats of violence or safety hazards

2.  HOTLINE TAKES THE CALL

  • Answered by trained, bilingual operator
  • Listens objectively, asks questions, gathers information
  • Does not give advice or counsel
  • Utilizes interviewing skills and customized software program
  • Sends confidential report to top management in employee's company within two business days of the call

3.  TOP MANAGEMENT RECEIVES CONFIDENTIAL REPORT

  • Has option of calling Hotline for consulting
  • Conducts complete and comprehensive investigation
  • Takes appropriate corrective action to avoid costly employee claim or lawsuit
  • Has option to consult with JorgensenHR for further investigating
